Learning From Mistakes

Romans 8:28 says, And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

Thank God for lessons learned through all our mistakes, amen. As we look back on all the things we should of done, or maybe missed. Not knowingly before hand, we just continuely move forward with something because it seemed to work, or seemed to be right in our eyes before consulting God, until one day it all comes crashing down unexpectedly. Maybe, God has called you to do something, and you’ve done it to the best of your ability, with all you knew to do, until something happens, and realize you made a mistake out of innocence, or it’s just simply something God has put on your heart personally that he’s given you to do, that has maybe been hindered because of a  lack of knowledge, or maybe God has given you warning signs, and you just kind of brushed it off, forgetting that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

With that being said, spiritually speaking, be careful people of God about how you move forward and doing things, be wise people of God, and give no place to the devil. Take the necessary precautions to make sure that what you’re doing for the kingdom of God is covered through all means necessary, Amen. The enemy doesn’t fight fair, so the weapons of our warfare is not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, Amen.

So people of God, be watchful, be vigiliant, because the adversary prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. So make sure you dot all your t’s when it comes to the things that God has called you to. He says in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths, amen. Seeking God first in all we do, and taking the necessary precautions in certain things, can save us from alot of mistakes, and time spent on certain things. So be blessed people of God.

Note: Regardless of whatever the mistakes you’ve made, God is awesome!!! Because even in the midst of the mistakes and trials we’ve gone through, there’s always a lesson learned, and something we can always take from our mistakes. It only makes you stronger as a child of God, because through every mistake it leads you back to God, through every mistake you learn what to do, and what not to do the next time. Because all things work together for our good in the end, and through it all anyway, So “PRAISE GOD”, for every mistake, either way we win, Amen.

Finish What You Start

Thank God for the new year! But what about the “New Year’s resolutions”, that we all talk about? I’m going to do this, and I’m going to do that for the new year. Making plans and setting goals for the new year, before even finishing, or accomplishing the goals and assignments, that God has already had us on before the new year even began.

Brothers and Sisters, how can God trust us with a new set of instructions, if we haven’t even finished, or been faithful with the first ones?  Proverbs 24: 27 says, Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house. So and that same way, before we start working on new things, and setting new goals, and resolutions, we need to first finish things that we’ve left undone, so that way we can then be prepared for what’s next, amen?

So first things first, what has God already put on your heart to do, or told you to do in 2018? Have you completed it, or are there things you still have to do? Are there assignments, and things still left undone that you haven’t completed? If so, go back and finish what you started. Just like in a race, the person didn’t win the race just by starting, but because they finished.

Even  as Children of God, when it comes to our salvation, we too have to finish the race that is set before of us, just like in 2Timothy 4:7 which says, I have fought the good fight,I have finished the race,I have kept the faith, and also 1Corinthians 9:24-26 says, Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

Note: As you can see people of God, it’s very important that we finish what we already started. It’s nothing wrong with making new year’s resolutions, but before we do that let’s go back to the drawing board, and ask ourselves what is it that I haven’t completed, and have I finished and accomplished everything that God told me to do, and once we done those things, then start reaching out for new heights in 2019, Amen, and be blessed people of God! Jesus loves you!!

What A Year!!

Happy New Year everyone!! It’s been a long one right? But also a great one, with so many things God has brought us through, we would of never made it without him. With so many laughs, tears, struggles, and pains, and many blessings, the things we’ve learned, and the test that we’ve faced, through it all we’re still here. God has been so good to us all, that we’ve even come to see that all things really do work together for our good, amen. So be blessed people of God, and in case you’ve missed any of my blogs this past year, go back and check them out, and let’s all go into this new year with a good mindset, and strive to be all that God has called us to be. Love you all, and thank God we’ve made it!!

Love Your Neighbor

Trespasses, trespasses, trespasses. We’ve all experienced them one time or another. Where someone have wronged us, intentionally, or unintentionally, or maybe we’ve hurt someone, and said something out of anger, and trespassed against them. Either way a boundary has been crossed, a word has been said. But the question is,What do we do, and how did we choose to handle it?

Alot of times, instead of going to that person ourselves, and discuss the situation, to make right what went wrong. We tend to go to other people discussing the matter, instead of the person that trespassed against us, or we trespassed against. So by doing that, we can make things even more worser than what it really is.

The word of God says in Matthew 18:15, Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. You see people of God, it’s God’s will that we go directly to that person first alone, rather than anybody else. Not our mom, nor our dad, not even the pastor, or other members at the church, because it’s between us and that person. Then if they don’t want to hear, then bring two or three more witnesses, then before the church, if it’s still not resolved according to  Matthew 18:16-17. It’s the proper way according to God, instead of talking about that person behind their back. They may not have known they offended you, or maybe they did.

God has given us the proper way to handle such matters, Amen. But we have to be mature enough to do them, not only that, but forgive and not hold grudges. In Matthew 18: 21 Peter asked how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times, and Jesus said unto him, not until seven times but , until seventy times seven, meaning we should always forgive no matter how mant times people trespass against us, because we’ve sinned against God, and trespassed against him so many times. So how can we have the nerve to not forgive others.

It takes the love of God in us, because if we love our neighbor like we should, we we will forgive them, and they should forgive us, why? Because 1 Corinthians says that love suffers long( which means we are patient with people enough to not throw in the towel when they’ve wronged us, or if we wronged them, Amen. We all make mistakes and some changes won’t happen over night.

Also, Love is kind, so when we love our neighbor, and if they have wronged us then we’re not going to talk to them an in unpleasant way, Amen. The word of God says to speak the truth in love, because saying the right thing, the wrong way is not kind. We have to treat people the way we want to be treated.

Note: Loving our neighbor goes both ways, when it comes to trespassing, whether someone has wronged us, or we’ve wronged them, we are to always handle it in love, speak to one another in love, and handle the situation in love Amen, and be blessed people of God. So as much as it depends on you, live peacefully with all men, but if in a situation where the other person doesn’t want to make peace, then give them over to God, let him handle it, but you do your part and forgive. Be blessed everyone!!

The “Voice Of God”

Is it Me, God ,or the enemy? Is what we’ve asked ourselves time and time again, or maybe you just need direction, and don’t know which way to go. With so many voices that speaks to us on a day to day bases, it can cloud out the voice of God, and not hear him so clearly. That’s why it’s very important for us to be able to discern the voice of God, Amen?

The question is: How can we hear God’s voice clearly? Maybe, you’ve been really frustrated, angry, and confused about a particular word, that you believe God has given you, and because of alot of things that’s been going on in your mind about that particular situation, you really need to hear from God, and you just don’t know what to do.

1 King 19:11-12 , And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold the Lord passed by, and a great wind: rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a “still small voice”. You see people of God, it can be hard to determine the voice of God, when so much is going on around us, and in our minds, that’s why it’s so important for us to be still, and even step back from the situation, so that we can position ourselves to hear God clearly.

Alot of times, we don’t know if it’s us, the enemy, or God. Because of so many things that’s been clouding our minds, and if we’re not careful, what we may believe is God, may not be God.  Proverbs 23:7 says, As he thinketh in his heart so is he. So sometimes what may appear to be God, maybe our own interpretation of a thing, because remember, God thoughts is not our thoughts, that’s why it’s so important for us to ask God what his will is, and then be still to listen, Amen.

Hearing the voice of God clearly, and knowing it for yourself, is so vital,  because it can save us from alot of wasted time, confusion, even bad relationships, and lack of direction, because it’s important to know what season you’re in.

Note: The word of God says, his sheep hear his voice, so if you’re struggling with recognizing the voice of God today, it’s not because God is not speaking, but because when our minds is so cloudy, and filled with worry, fear, and anxiety,  because we’ve been so frustrated, it can block out the voice of God. So in order to know what God is saying clearly, we have to first be still ( quite our minds), by letting go of the fear, letting go of the worry, letting go of any distractions, by given it back to God , then listen until we’re able to discern the voice of God, Amen, and Be blessed people of God!!

Losing Your Life

Brothers and Sisters, what means more to you in this life? Alot of times we say God I’ll do this for you, and I’ll do that for you, or God I’ll willing to do whatever you want me to do, but do we really? What about when it cost you something, maybe your money, maybe your time, would you still serve God, even if it means giving up the things you wanna do. Sometimes we as believers may not realize that serving God takes sacrifice.

Mark 8:35 says, For whosoever will save his shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. So you see people of God, when we choose to do God’s will over our own, we gain, because only the things of God is what matters more in this life, that’s why he says Mattew 6:33 to seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

Serving God is a privilege, but we sometimes see it as a burden, why because in our heart we’ll do it, as long as it doesn’t effect us, and our way of living. It’s like we all in with God until it requires our time, that we may have wanted to spend on our ownselves. We don’t mind denying everybody else when it comes to the things of God, but when it comes to denying ourselves, we start making excuses, and trying to find ways around it so we can do what we wanna do.We seem to be doing just fine with the Lord, until he tells us to do something that takes our time that we was gonna use for something else inorder to do God’s business.

What am I trying to say people of God? Don’t just serve God when it’s convenient for you, don’t just obey God because he told you, but serve Him from a true heart of Spirit and in Truth. God knows when we’re really sincere, but do we? Sometimes we think we somewhere that we’re not, until God test us to show us ourselves, Matthew 16: 24 says, Then said Jesus unto his disciples, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

So if we truly love God, we will deny ourselves. Why? Because we truly love him with all our heart, and all our soul, and all our strength. That’s why Jesus said unto Peter, Simon, son of Jo’-nas, lovest thou me more than these? He said unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He said unto him, Feed my Lambs. You see people of God, if we truly love God, and wanna serve him, we give up our life for his sake, Amen, and be blessed people of God!!

Fear Not

Brothers and sisters, what has God called you to do? Are you walking in it  with confidence, knowing that he’s with you, or are you afraid to step out on what you know that he’s assign you to do? Alot of times, the fear of man can stop us, and what we’re thinking in our minds about the situation as well. Also, it’s what we think of ourselves, instead of holding on to what God has said about us, and what we think that others will say.

The word of God says in Proverbs 29:25, that the fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. How many of us know that it’s not about what people say, or think but it’s about what God says, and until we realize that and come to that conclusion, we can never walk in the full potential that God has gifted us with. How many of us know that it doesn’t have to be that way, and it doesn’t have to stay that way, because we can walk in the full potential that God has already graced us with? How many of us know that we don’t have to live in fear any longer, because we can learn to step out and trust God to be with us every step of the way.

Joshua 1:9 says, Have not I commanded thee? Be strong, and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest. So you see people of God, we don’t have to fear man, or even our own thoughts that comes and talk us out of doing the will of God. God is a very present help in time of need. But God has our back, he promised to be with us, whether if it’s a ministry that God has called you to( God will be with you).Or whether it’s sharing the gospel, or simply loving your neighbor as yourself.

Note: Brothers and sisters, we have to learn to believe that if God has called us to it, then he will bring us through it, and that he’s already given us the power to do it, all we have to do is step out and do it, with faith believing that he is with us, Amen!

God knows our beginning and end, so we don’t have to fear, because he said that he’ll be with us. So what is standing in your way today, that’s causing you to not be all God called you to be? Is it fear of man, or is it what you’re thinking about your ownselves? Whatever it is, let’s take God at his word, and start walking in the ministry that God has called us to, Amen and be blessed people of God, and remember that he’s with you every step of the way!
